Hello All, I hold the NEBOSH Diploma which covers a bit of CDM, but not in great detail. I work for an FM company and they want me to 'upgrade' my CDM knowledge. Would anyone out there know what might be the best course to take?? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

How about 'The Management of CDM' which is recognised by APS?

The Management of CDM Co-ordination is a three day course focussed on the roles and responsibilities of a CDM Co-ordinator. I would advise that you think about what you are looking for. If you contact me through the message system we can talk through the options if you like. Craig Foyle (Humber Branch Chair).

Please note that the CDMC's role is but only one part of a CDM management requirement and does not cover all areas by any means especially on non-notifiable sites [which most sites in the UK probably are] where CDMC's are not involved that a site manager / client needs to know about talk to Craig and others as needed

May be of interest: http://www.bifm-training...nding_constructionFS.htm Of course there are other ways to increase knowledge -it doesn't always need a training course. There's a wealth of CDM resource on HSE and CITB websites for personal study/CPD.
