Hi all I am trying to understand the LTFR (Long Term Accident Frequency Rate) calculation. Do you just calculate this rate the same as AAFR (All Accident Frequency Rate)? Also is there any other 'Rates' which may be useful? Thanks to all who contribute.

jar, Usually LTFR stands for Lost Time accident Frequency Rate - reflects US OSHA recording requirements.

LTIR - Lost time Incident Rate (same as LTFR) TRIR - Total Recordable Incident Rate (an accident which does not require time off but needs recording) both of these are OSHA as well.
