Hi, I have been looking into apps and their developments. I havn't seen any H&S ones yet but if you come across any you may think might be useful let me know, it is something I am keen to progress in the future.

Hi Alan, You can try iAuditor which is a free app. Hundreds of templates to choose from and if you've got an ipad then you can also edit them to suit your business/needs. It's not bad to be honest. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's only available for Apple iphones & ipads though. Hope this helps. Andy

The company I work for trialled this kind App a few years a go on construction sites and it wasn't very successful. All of the officers found it hard to input comments, it became a box ticking exercise. The dream is to tick box's while you are walking around, the reality is that you can not tick many box's until you have walked the whole site and checked documentation within the office. At this point you may as well be writing on a pad or sat behind your lap top rather than struggling to input data in to small box's you can hardly see on a touch screen which is too small. As you can probably guess, I am not a champion of this type of device.
