Hi I am trying to find out accident rates within the retail distribution and third party logistics sector. Does anybody have a good source of information, or if you work in this sector, could you supply me with your accident rates? This is so I can compare the rates where I work with other organisations. Answers will be kept in confidence if required, and are for my internal use only. Many thanks Ian

RIDDOR reportable accident data can be found here: https://handson.hse.gov.uk/hse/public/home.aspx Unfortuantely I'm not allowed to share our accident stats, but it may be worth asking the same question in the R&D forum and / or the IOSH R&D group. FYI, we have a group set up called the "Supermarket Safety Group" which allows the sharing of such data, along with quarterly meetings to disucss current OHS issues etc. If I were in a different company I'd look to do the same for the sector.
