Hi Chris I would start off with: Site visit: take photos, notes etc. for when you are back at the office to refer to Risk Assessment: What are the hazards, risks etc. write them all down Work Methology: How are you going to carry out the works, tools, chemicals etc. Confined space: Read up on this, access, egress, emergency procedures, training, use of chemicals in the confined space (GRP fumes etc. venting, blowers to take away fumes etc.), permit to work When you've got all this together write a method statement to set out a stage by stage process of how to carry out the works safely, equipment needed, PPE, location of nearest hospital etc. Brief your team to the method statement and risks involved, get them to sign the method statement so as to get confirmation they know of the risks, processes etc. If the job is a couple of days cary out a site visit, check your controls are working etc. etc. Regards Shaun
