From time to time the discussions on this forum can become very heated and polarised. That, of course, is generally a sign of healthy debate and is not be discouraged. However, staying within the forum rules helps to ensure such debate can continue in a friendly, supportive environment. May we please ask all users to take a moment to remind themselves of the 3 forum rules that are most often overlooked?
Rule 2. You must not antagonise other users or post any information that could be considered defamatory, obscene, abusive, offensive, inflammatory, unlawful or creates a risk to a person’s safety or health.
Rule 3. You must not indulge in bullying, aggressive, discriminatory or nuisance behaviour. Please be respectful towards other guests, IOSH members, moderators and IOSH staff. Please remember, our forums are used by guests who might not have a background in occupational safety and health. Inappropriate postings made towards guests are not tolerated. If you are an IOSH member, bear in mind the Code of Conduct in particular:
"Members shall not behave in a way which may be considered inappropriate to other members or staff of the Institution." (Paragraph 10)
Rule 32. Use the “report a concern” feature to raise any issues or concerns you have about a topic or post. All concerns are automatically sent to the Web team. They are then discussed by the moderating team. You must not post complaints on the discussion forums.
thank you
