Was wondering if anyone has had experience and can also supply a checklist / questionnaire for use in a due diligence exercise. The intent is to provide a framework for carrying out a pre-acquisition due diligence exercise to provide objective benchmark data that will give an organisation a degree of confidence (or indeed otherwise) about a potential purchase?
Any help appreciate

Due diligence of what Craig?
I have taken part in these previously and they cover lots of different aspects of the business you are looking at. Some examples include:
> a health, safety & welfare audit which would include general safety standards, regulatory compliance, accidents rates, enforcement actions, claims experience
> an environmental audit looking at previous land use, exiting environmental aspects and their control, incidents, regulatory requirements (including IPPC permitted activities), land contamination, etc
> financial........etc, etc
If you can be specific about the area you are interested in I might have something that could help.

I would sugest that a pre defined checklist would not help as your assessment would need to focus on the company concerned rather than arbitary questions.
