We have a requirement to test our emergency response procedure over and above the typical fire evacuation.
I'm looking for a simple scenario excercise (chemical spill) that may already have been used and how it was all documented.
Can anyone help?

Probably not what you're looking for but we 'enhance' our routine fire evacuation exercises:
One year we had a number of staff 'volunteer' to turn up at the evacuation point role playing serious injuries from an explosion - they had great fun
Other years have included after dark evacuations, it's amazing how little you can actually see with emergency lighting only, particularly cluttered floor spaces in offices.
Each year I believe that our emergency evacuation tests have resulted in a clearer understanding of issues from the staff and increased 'reasonable' systems put in place by management.

I'll always remember my Dad telling me of a suspect parcel (he was working at a postal sorting office) that was physically removed form the sorting office and placed, leant against the petrol pump in the vehicle "yard" - which just happened to be the Fire Assembly point! You couldn't make it up!
