I was wondering if anyone out there was aware of any service (eg provided by a weather website) that could automatically notify me of freezing weather conditions in my area that are expected overnight. That way I can organise gritting of problem areas on site to prevent icy conditions, rather than dealing with icy conditions afterwards.
Any help would be appreciated.

The contractor responsible for maintaining the road/pedestrian route network for our project used the company at the link below to provide long and short term weather advice. They were pretty accurate and we didnt lose a day where the network was not useable since 2008, even when the rest of the country was at a virtual standstill.

OK, some of the other contractors working on the project stood their teams down because their own site areas were not prepared but we could always get them to their gates!
