Have been surprised recently by the length of time some cases are taking to come to court - reading SHP this month the case of the fatal explosion at MOD site - occurred in 2006, sentanced in 2012. Rv Lion Steel equipment - took 4 years. The fatal fire in the warehouse in Warwickshire - 3 years - I do have an understanding of the legal processes but even so - on a human note for all concerned but particularly the families of the bereaved this is just awful.

Agreed, but lawyers charge by the clock. No incentive to go faster.
