Hi everyone,

we have a large old pedestal drill in our workshop that I want to dispose of. It hasn't ran in many years and no-one quite knows what states it in, although it does visually look ok.

We dont want to go to the hassle of checking it over to sell it and would rather just dispose but I'm a bit wary of having it picked up for scrap, it then being used a later date and something coming back on us.

Do we have to totally dismantle it and cut it up?

Thanks in advance
Steve

I'd dispose of it via a specialist 2nd hand machine dealer.
That way there is no "come back" and you are likely to get more than scrap value for no effort.

The old ones (good and solid) are usually worth renovating and there is a demand - good for the environment too.
