Hi Folks Happy New Year!!! we have a client who has asked us to provide some statutory examinations for lifting gear, flt, etc plus a dozen or so LEV systems and a reciever. We are quite competent and able to do the lifting eqpt and would like to also provide a full service, so anyone know of anyone in the Derbyshire/Notts area who provides this service we could sub it to whilst still being the main supplier? Holmezy, One point to note is that stat. inspections should be undertaken by someone independent from those that service / repair the items of equipment, to prevent any conflict of interest (as stated in the PUWER ACOP). I'd strongly advise either an external person /company complete the stat inspection or someone under different line management from those completing the "full service".
