If someone is back on the 7th day but then works and then goes off agin due to same injury is it reportable ?

Ive been asked by someone and we both say no but just wanted to double check as he is expecting an employee thats back today to go off again for some reason.

The criterion is being unfit for normal work for more than seven consecutive days. It's not whether they are actually off that counts but whether they are unfit. If someone comes in but then turns out to be unfit the same day, that would be another consecutive day of being unfit. If they are fit one day and then unfit the next, the count would start again from day one - but how likely is it that they were really fit in that case?
