Good Afternoon,
I have hopefully landed myself an interview with a new build construction company next Monday.
I have been out of construction for the last 4 years so a bit rusty so any help would be greatly appreciated.
What areas will I need to revise on , obviously CDM regulations but anything in particular in CDM ?
Other topics on construction I will need to revise.
Also if anyone would have any suggestions to likely construction related questions they may ask ?
Any hints of tips would be greatly appreciated as I really want this job.
Thanks in advance :)

Is it houses, office developments, hospitals etc and is it in an enclosed area.
Trades involved this list could be endless if you are not there to see.

Sorry I should have been clearer.
It is new build houses and flats which could range from 10-250 units I would assume.

Take a look at the HSE construction priorities programme for 2013, also take a look at Fees For Intervention.
All of which is readily available on the good old HSE website.
If you can take a look at you prospective new employers website as they may have some information relating to Health & Safety on there.
Good luck!

My question are you acting a sub-contractor or are you the principle contractor for the site
different points to bear in mind if you are going for an interview

Do some homework on occupational health issues including the Constructing Better Health initiative.
