I always thought that to complete and pass an NVQ 5 all the evidence and reflections submitted had to come from the candidates own place of work and to have been produced by the candidate.

Is this still the case or can candidates use other people’s evidence from other places of work and pass it off as their own?

Rich

PS - I have the old NVQ4 but know of someone undertaking the NVQ5 who I am in dispute with concerning above.

I presume from the lack of answers no-one has a view on my query above.

Of course it should be your own work or at least relating to your workplace and the reflections are about you. But how would the provider know if the work was your own or something you have taken and put your name on it to pass as your own work/

I'm sure every one of us would hold to the view that passing off the work of others as your own is inexcusable. I guess what we're talking about here is cheating.
The question comes back to you though- what can you, and what are you, prepared to do to address that?

It must be your own work -the place the work is undertaken in is irrespective as long as the work is relevant and your own

If somebody is cheating then it is for your own conscience as to what to do about it as I would act only when you know all the facts!
