Monday morning headache, I'm confused!

OP. unless it's a very well known acronym (e.g. HASAWA, WAH et al) you need to write the term in full otherwise most people won’t know what you're referring to!

Could it be Mars Science Laboratory? That is the first link on Google...

And Ron, I can't find your term either!

Possible but unlikely contenders for the meaning of MMS in an OS&H context include: Malicious Mother Syndrome, Madagascan Museum Society, Male Mating Speed, Magnetic Mine Sweeping, Molecular Modulation Spectroscopy, Mass Mammographic Screening and, believe it or not, the Machrihanish Madrigal Society! :-)

My vote is it's a wind up thread, with no purpose. Don't respond!!

Abbreviations and Acronyms
I was just wondering why forum contributors in the majority of cases insist on just using abbreviations or acronyms in their posts?

I feel sure that most readers will understand most of the abbreviations but I for one will admit that I am somewhat flummoxed by a lot of what abbreviations are used.

Could the poster start of by using the full title ie: "Work At Height" and than proceed to use WAH ?

Some of the terminology and jargon can be a little perplexing to say the least.

I'm sure that even seasoned practitioners would struggle with all the abbreviations covering all aspects of "Health and Safety" H&S.

Other opinions are welcome. [end quote]

Intrigued, I did check Google. One search did find Modular Safety Muting, refering to MLS multi beam safety photoelectric switches (light curtains that activate a safety interlock if activated).

If this is what the OP was asking for, only experience I've had shows they work well but only in clean(ish) environments.

A wind up methinks. This should be on the Apple or Android Forums. Both terms associated with these new-fangled 'strokey' phones.
I think you've got the wrong Forum my friend.
Then again, your name is an anagram of "a tech leper."
