I am looking to train someone up in house to act as our trainer for safety harnesses use and inspection etc. Same for general WAH awareness. Can anyone recommend a company to me via PM, preferably in Scotland. Thanks

Try http://www.lyon.co.uk/wo...ficult-environments.html Respected company although they're not based in Scotland. Variety of courses that might fit the bill

Try North Sea Lifting in Aberdeen. I've not used them up there but bought all of their handbooks for info.http://www.nsl-aberdeen.com not sure if they do 'train the trainer' though. If your selected person is not a trainer yet it may be good to train them in that first - there are other threads on tis site about that, then add skills to the trainer.

Hi Turtle BIS Salamis also do WAH training, incl Unit 6 which is Inspection, but I would complete L1 and L2 first for users, but contact them and see what they offer. As already indicated, NSL are good but I´m not sure I´ve seen a train-the-trainer course, the preference being to have users trainined by WAH professionals such as those already mentioned. Keep us updated.
