Has anyone set themselves up as a limited company? Could do with some clear advice on the finanacial side and what insurances are required. Please PM me

Get an accountant, check with the agencies/companies you are planning to work for r.e. the level of cover you need. Energy contractors was the cheapest insurance company I could find when I was ltd company, but a quick google search will yield many more I'm sure.

If you are setting up as a limited company you will need public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. You will also need to consider travel insurance if working overseas. Employers liability insurance only if you are going to be employing people. Thanks - Donna
