Is there any point having a fire blanket in a kitchen that doesnt have a stove top/ oven, naked flames, chip pans or oils etc? We have one in a kitchen that contains just a toaster, a micrwave, coffee machine etc. Im thinking there is no point as we have Co2 extuinguishers close by, and I understand its down to RA but just wanted peoples opinions before getting rid.

Agree, no point. Turn off/un plug. Then Co2 should be fine.

In that case you can have mine. I agree 100% with JJP:- FBs totally unnecessary in such a snack area and usually only ever in place on advice from a fire extinguishers engineer/salesmen who are often paid commission
