Hi,

Having trawled the internet, I cannot find any advice on what legal or recommended maintenance checks should be performed on them. The Fire Extinguishers are certified to BS6165 - 950g BC Powder. They say maintenance is simple & low cost - but not detail is give. Appreciate any information, thanking you in advance.

It might be as cheap to replace the extinguishers, of such a small size, every few years

A quick Google gave this from the BSi website.

The clue is possibly in the title, although don't have access to the standard - inspection/testing is possibly not anticipated.

BS 6165:2002
Specification for small disposable fire extinguishers of the aerosol type
