Good morning all,

I submitted a RIDDOR the week before last but never received a copy by Email, I may have made an error in my email address. I have contacted the RIDDOR contact centre and HSE and was referred to the LA (IT company therefore LA) but they dont seem to know what a RIDDOR even is. Is there a way of getting hold of a copy or should I just resubmit?

I've never had a copy by email.
They usually post me a paper copy about two weeks later.
Get into the habit of saving the .pdf offered just before submitting.

Thanks damelcfc, I have never had one posted to me to be honest. The couple I have submitted in the past were pinged back to me as soon as I pressed submit. Admittedly a schoolboy error not to save a pdf before submittal but hey ho you live and learn...

http://www.hse.gov.uk/riddor/faqs.htm - Seems the only way you can get a copy is re-submit the form but mark as duplicate!

Not had a posted copy for a couple of years. Email always comes through nigh on straight away.

Been a couple of years since I had to report so does not suprise me the system has changed in that time.

Ok long shot

Could you create an email address to match what you thought you put in? (or get IT department if works email). You can then forward it to yourself.

Yes IT dept will give you grief

Thanks for tha suggestion chris the only problem with that is I don't know what error I made on the form:)

I have now resubmitted and made a note that it is a resubmittal, it came straight through by email but there wasn't a function for saving as pdf before hand though. Thanks for all of your suggestions!
