Hi, yes I saw it but didn't follow the link. I have since been emailed from iosh and signed it through that link provided. Over 4200 signatures now I'm told.

Slightly under 96,000 more signatures required to take it to Parliamentary scrutiny.

What's so bad about getting rid an of out dated document? If you read and digest what the HSE propose it makes good sense. But I forgot it requires people to actually understand the risks and hazards associated with their occupation and put in suitable controls - not just complete documentation for the sake of it. Lets not do our profession a dis-service, lets go with the flow and embrace new ideas (Yes NEW). I fully understand there are people who say if it isn't broken don't fix it - the ACOP was out of date when it was written and that came from with the HSE at the time.
