A friend who is a Fire Officer asked me if I had read much about the use of Bio Enthanol fires. I hadn't but I wondered if anyone else had. There have recently been two very serious accidents in the home that he had been involved with. What little I have read concerns me - e.g. allegedly no safety devices. Any thoughts?

Homes are not covered by the RRo its pure alcohol very flammable lots of stuff written on the net also may have religious consiquences Sheikh Mohamed Al-Najimi, a scholar at the Saudi Islamic Jurisprudence Academy, reportedly warned students travelling outside Saudi Arabia not to drive any vehicles powered with ethanol because the "prophet prohibited all kinds of dealings with alcohol including buying, selling, carrying, serving, drinking, and manufacturing".
