Hi all,

So after completing units A-C in the NEBOSH Dip and waiting for results of unit D (fingers crossed). I now thinking to myself whats next?! And what will be really beneficial for my career? I can't help but feel a bit 'empty' now its over!

What have people moved onto after the Diploma? Risk management?

Also, what's involved with the Grad IOSH/CIMOSH process - what does the SDP really involve? This web site really gives nothing away!!

Thanks,
J

Having started from the same point as you I asked IOSH if they would provide the full guide book prior to registration as that would help me understand what IPD / SDP realy was or wanted. The book was comprehensive and gives examples of what is required to be completed. You may have that empty feeling now but when you register for IPD that will soon disapear. you get 2 years to complete 7 different task in different aspects of H&S. but well worth it - I hope. Best of luck

Good Luck with Unit D. When you register for IPD you will be sent a booklet which tells you what is required for the Skill Development Folder which can be completed on-line. I did it this way it saves time and money on not posting things backwards and forwards. Once SPD is out of the way you have your Peer review and subject to ratification you become Chartered.
Just noticed my status has changed from Graduated member to Chartered so passed the ratification too. Need to keep the CPD upto date from now on.
