Evening all I am looking to do some voluntary work promoting health and safety does anyone have good any ideas or organisations or trade organisations that could benefit from this Chris

Where in the Midlands are you? Examples could be: Your parish church. Scouts/guides, air/army/sea cadets. Steam railway type organisations (eg there is one at Butterly or another one near Lesta / Luffboro). I also have a mate on faceyache what does restoring and tinkering with dirty big diesel trains near Chesterfield in some sort of club thingy. Local museums, if not under the cosh of the LA. Petting farms such as the one between Mansfield and Newark near the “white post.” Local swimming, rowing, footy or rugger clubs etc. Maybe ask your local WRVS or the local Lodge if they know anywhere.
