Are there any guides about how battery charging stations should be set-up? I've seen them on chipboard (fire risk), MDF (ditto unless it's possible to prove it's fire resistant), steel (risk of racking becoming live if touching circuit) and on the floor (maybe that's the answer if it's concrete). Any thoughts please. Paul

Hi Paul, In the first instance it would be worth speaking to your suppliers, normally they will recommend fitting instructions. Ours are on metal frames and this is normally quite common.

http://giantbatteryco.co...drogen.Gas.Emission.html This shows you how to do the calculations, get your slide rule out and save some money. The HSE don’t appear to see it as big issue! http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg139.pdf http://www.hse.gov.uk/risk/casestudies/pdf/mvr.pdf
