I remember from the legal update at my local branch meeting that a piece of legislation had been introduced as of April this year, aiming to cut the ambulance chasers down to size. Does anyone have any website links or detail on whats come in and subsequently gone. I think from the Unit A this affected the pre-action protocol but it's been a while since I covered it so any help would be appreciated

Thanks Steve, but isn't that just the link to the old pre-action protocol ?

Slightly off topic - I had to go and visit an eye specialist last week at at Lincoln coubty Hospital, on the appointment card I was sent was an advert from the Charlatan "No Win / No Fee" Brigade asking the usual "Had an accident at work?"
Hardly cutting them down to size or reigning them in. Next they'll be money lending. Rant over.
