Hello,
I have been asked tp put together a Crisis Management Procedure for our site. Does anyone have an example of format. My site is Food Manufacturing.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi KK,
I've nothing related to the food industry, but check out the new-ish ISO22301 (business continuity management systems), it isn't an externally validated standard (instead its a good piece of DIY). It has some headings and explanations of things to consider, unfortunately its £100 to buy.......

Private organisations don't usually publish their business continuity/crisis plans but a lot of the public sector do and these can be found using Google - councils, hopsitals, universtites, etc. There may be stuff there you can use as a template.
ISO 22301 is quite pricey but the Business Continuity Institute's Good Practice Guidlelines have been quite useful for me, updated to accord with the new ISO, and they only cost a quartere as much.
For emergency procdures (calling out staff, meeting locations, deploying resources) there's also some usefull stuff generally availble from the web sites of most Local Resilience Forums, the collective body for each police area of all public sector emergency responders.
Lastly your local council has duty to promote business continuity, and while they may not have a specialist available, may be able to signpost to further useful info or guidance.
