Curious what others put in their quarterly (etc.) reports as breakdowns?

Present the following as headlines:
How many people did we hurt this year?
How many seriously?
How many contracted occupational disease (or had a worsened condition)?
How much did all that cost?

Whilst you cant get away from reporting injuries by severity (RIDDOR), projected costs can be useful to focus the mind.
But why not focus on CAUSE and significance of the event? If there is an indication of weakness in systems, prioritise these, regardless of injury / outcome.
Giving accidents a risk rating, the high risks can then be summarised, in words not just numbers, as usually few. Stories connect more than numbers.
Can also present by cause, although this does require some investigation and professional input, sticking to very broad categories which can be linked to management action.
Categorise the trivial as just that, as this is only really an indication of reporting enthusiasm. (some organisations, especially public sector, report every tiny event. Nothing can be done about these. Don't allow to be distracted by numbers when it's "what are we going to do about it" which matters.
