Dear all,
Would anyone have a template Policy for an unannounced HSE visit to a construction site?
Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

HSE published guidance on what to expect when an inspector visits: your policy could be based around that.

And don't forget to offer him / her all the assitance they ask for.

Make haste where the Inspector suggests a material breach - these guys charge handsomely by the hour!!

But don't offer them a cup of tea, it will cost you more than the price of a tea bag! At the going rate for FFI it could cost you another £50.
But seriously, the introduction of FFI has unfortunately changed the relationship that many of us have built up with various inspectors over the years. Many (most?) inspectors aren't so happy with it either.
