What evidence(experieince, training, competence) does a person need to produce when carrying out any work in any of the following areas

Gas appliances/services
Electrical work
asbestos work
plumbing work

Gas - each indivivdual registered with GAS SAFE - their card will state what they can work on
The company they work for should also be GAS SAFE registered

Electrical work - I would expect individuals to have certificates showing they are trained to the current 17th Edition.
I would also only use companies accredited to NICEIC

Asbestos work - personnally I would only employ a HSE Licensed Controctor to carry out any work on all types of asbestos.

Plumbing work I would expect some form of C&G certificate, member of trade body
