I have recently seen some very good, short, powerful videos showing the impact of electrical safety failures within the utilities sector. To raise safety awareness here I am looking for similar manufacturing sector or general videos that we can communicate through our monthly comms meetings. These can be corporate videos, provided we have permission to view them. Do any of you know any good safety/environmental video resources out there than can be shared?

Vocam are pretty good, can be pricey, if you contact them they may offer you some free trial DVD's, you can view them and send them back if they arent suitable...

I have Silence is Consent too - it's very good. There is also a DVD from SGB scaffolding following an incident they had - The Cost of Accidents - http://www.cip-books.com...ails.aspx?productID=1944 I would also recommend Jen Deeneys story - http://jenniferdeeney.co.uk/

Silence is Consent can be obtained from roadworkersafety@highways.gsi.gov.uk its about identifying near misses, reporting them and or acting to prevent reoccurrence. Jen Deenney also made a follow up to her original called "it will never happen to me". If you are looking specifically for manufacturing I would suggest you contact Vocam who sell yearly licenses to access their range on the web, which is very good value for the money. Note I have no financial interests in any of the above companies Regards Brian
