Hi All Looking for a risk assessment and method statement for working under overhead power lines, machinery involved is skips and excavators.
Can anyone help me out

Hi The HSE have a section on this at: http://www.hse.gov.uk/se...%20cables&gsc.page=1Also if you call your local network provider they to may have some info. We are in the Western Power area and they have issued a great DVD wand driver brochure which I issue to our drivers.

The last line should read and not "wand".

Just have a look at GS6 and stick to the clearence distances and if using a crane ensure that the limiter is activated. Depending what you are doing the Network provider might want a SAP (Senior Authorised Person) present that works for them.
