Hi All,
I work within a manufacturing organisation where our highest accident statistics is cuts to hands.
I am looking to run some toolbox talks on what our operatives should be looking out for along with general hand protection.
Does anybody out there have something along these lines that they would be happy to share with me please?
Many thanks and best wishes,
Kevin

As a new user to these forums I am going to be gentle...if you are a manufacturing organisation then surely you must be able to develop a TBT along the lines of what types of cuts, what are they cutting their hands on, are gloves part of their PPE, if so, are they suitable for the activities?
Without the information above it would be difficult to come up with meaningful controls to reduce the injuries. Moreover, discuss with your workforce as these are the 'experts' who are likely to provide you with the answers you need. Then produce some guidance in the form of a bulletin or TBT if you prefer. TBTs on their own are not the Philosopher's Stone.
