Thanks for taking a moment to click my thread.

I have recently completed my NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety. I have been working as a H&S Director for a few years within Engineering/Construction. I am looking/thinking to progress my career within the legal sector, I was thinking corporate law. Have any of you any recommendations as to what would be the best qualification that I should aim towards in hope to get a position in the future within the legal world?

Thanks for any input.

I have done W100. It was quite challenging!

Hmm a bold decision. Changing career is very difficult task, entering the legal profession even more so. A law degree is only just the starters.

Not so much a career change, I want to use my H&S knowledge within law.

You might to have a chat with the College of Law - there is one in Bristol.

The LLB course can be taken over two or three years (two years is real torture) if you have other commitments.

Fees are high now - about £9K. I forked out over £5K in 2001.

If you can afford it and have the time it will reward you handsomely and will open up a whole new world career wise.

In that case you may like to check out the MA in Health and Safety and Environmental Law (Salford University). I completed this course a few years ago so if you need any extra info please feel free to ask.

Ditto here. Very good top notch tutors and visiting professors on away study weekends.

Contact Victoria Howes at Salford (Uni) Law School. Not much on Company or Contract Law though.
