We have evacuation chairs in our office suitable for emergency use to transport down stairs. Would anyone be able to recommend a similar chair that could be used to transport up stairs? Many thanks.

The Exitmaster Versa-Elite can be used for unpowered upstairs evacuation (basements) as well as downstairs. We use about 30 of these across our estate and I can thoroughly recommend them as I find them more comfortable to use for the user and passenger than the leading brand. They are not cheap at around £1000, but are much cheaper & reliable than battery powered units. A cheaper 'downhill only' model (Versa) is also available where an 'uphill' requirement is not required http://www.sure-line.co....a-elite-evacuation-chair
