Has this site gone so serious that the customary "Friday Threads" have disappeared?

Perhaps we should start weaving some humour into the more long winded and pretentious threads that get started on the forum rather than creating special Friday treads.

Not sure about that one- I know that The Weavers were banned by NBC in the US during the cold war, and a pastor banned women from wearing hair weaves in his church. I think that the Government will eventually ban humour in all forms. Andy

Safety Smurf beat me to that one, which is why they were so concerned over happiness levels. Its a wonder they have not thought of a safety tax, after all not being hurt at work is a sort of benefit in kind. :o)

That comment has cut me to the bone! I find it very insulting!! I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth- or anywhere else for that matter- and I have worked hard (ish) for what I have got- which isn't much thanks to the Government!!! Andrew Walker

Ok. I'll try and liven it up a bit. I have recently made a montage of clips of accidents that were caught on CCTV. Was it inappropriate of me to use Elvis Costello's "Accidents will happen" as backing track? And if it was, what should I have used instead?

I'll bite......... You could have used, maybe: "Carry Me Home" by AC/DC "There'll never be another you" - Nat King Cole (?) "COSHH I Love you" - Slade. Stopping right there.

'Had a bad Day' - by Daniel Powter works quite well, I've got an accident clip video somewhere with that song as the backing track.
