Did anyone else "attend" the fire risk assessment webinar this morning?
I did and so did approximately 500 or so others, I say "attend" but it was a live presentation on the PC.
For those who missed it there will be a chance to catch up with a repeat recorded presentation available in the next few days.
Cost nothing so was well worth the watch. CPD points available and a certificate as well. What ho!!!!!!

Have a look at this link.
https://www.iosh.co.uk/n...information_service.aspx
I thought all IOSH members knew about the IOSH/Barbour deal?
Did I say it was good?
What I meant was it was well worth watching as it cost nothing and, as I say "you don't know what you don't know", as an experienced fire risk assessor I would be expected to know it all however there was a little snippet of information there that will help me in future.
I won't reveal it yet but maybe after more people see the presentation we can discuss it further.
I will receive a link to the repeat performance in near future and will put it up here.

Hi,
Thanks for the link.
One point / question. Determinations were mentioned https://www.gov.uk/deter...er-the-fire-safety-order is where they can be found. I think that the presenter said that they provide a precedent, did I miss-hear? My understanding is that each Determination is a stand alone and can't be used for comparison.
Regards,
S

I missed first showing and used follow up. Is it possible get a CPD certifcate or does it depend on attending "live" (cyber?) show

As far as I know certificates are for those attending on the live showing, but why not contact Barbour and ask, they can only say yes or no?
