Anybody else have problems with the CSCS organisation? I sent off for four new and renewal cards in July and have heard nothing since. I have tried to contact CSCS by phone, hanging on for thirty minutes at one call. I have also emailed them twice with no response. Of course they cashed the cheque pretty quickly. I'm not impressed!

Dodge I could tell you stories that would make your teeth itch. A colleague organised a CSCS bus to come to our office so that about 40 people could take the test. A discounted rate was organised and agreed (verbally) for the test and the issueing of the cards. Bus came, people took tests and received results. Then when we requested the cards we where told we would have to stump up a further £30 per person to get the cards. I am well aware of the moral to this story !

Dodge, Paul, I have never been a big fan of CITB or CSCS, however I am aware that they have undergone a lot of moves and staff changes recently. Can I suggest you contact your Company Development Advisor - they sometimes have some unlisted numbers us mere mortals are not privvy to. Regards Clive

Paul it might have been the guys were quoted for the H&S test rather then the card which comes as a separate cost, we are just in the process of registering as a tests centre over in Wakefield so our organisation can at least save half the cost on it
