Proactive response redken but are they going to really help? We have ex regulators here who don’t agree, safety professionals who don’t agree……………….
End of the day read the Regs interpret them and do the job to the best of your ability. Don’t come on here for advice on reporting accidents your head will be spinning, haha.

Many thanks to all for your input, for info the IP is back in work and is fine so I will not be reporting in any case.
What this does illustrate however is the difficulty we have as "Professionals" in interpreting regulations as we all have different opinions and all feel we are correct in our interpretations. What chance does your average small business have? Most people outside of our sphere have never heard of RIDDOR let alone understand the nuances.
