Hi all, Please can you help by providing information on the equivalent to the HSE websites in the following countries: Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain. I have already done a search before anyone suggests that. The issue I have is that I have found some good information, but I am unsure if it is the official website and not something like the Gov.UK version of information relating to what you would get on the HSE website if that makes sense. Some websites also don't have clear translation. Please only respond with contstructive responses - I'm not after an opinion of my failure to source this info. Thanks so much. Buffbot

For Germany try BAUA (www.baua.de/en/) This is the English version of the website of the nearest thing that Germany has to our HSE. In reality there is no exact comparison, as in Germany matters are organised differently and the statutory insurance providers (Berufsgenossenschaften) play a much greater role than insurance companies in the U.K. I hope this gets you started, at least on Germany. If you feel you need more you are welcome to PM me. Chris

Have a look at this link http://www.hse.gov.uk/research/rrpdf/rr535.pdf This gives some sort of explanation as to how H&S is organised overseas. For most countries it forms a part of the local labour code and is fundamentally the same principles but enforced differently. HTH Mike
