I've noticed quite some difference in requirements made by different CDM C's to review the RA/MS of those appointed to operate on site. While I appreciate the need to review the Initial CPP how far should the CDM C go when looking at RA/MS especially those of sub contractors?

The CDMC may wish to see that these are in place and he can comment on them if he wishes however ultimatley its PC responsibility to review for suitability and if he says they are suitable then thats that. Ultimatley its not part of the CDMC role to review RA/MS`s. regards

This is not part of the role & function of the CDM-c, this is the PCs responsibility. If the CDM-c insists on a copy simply explain to him his duties, explain that he can have a copy by all means & point him in the direction of the documentation and the photocopier!

Depends on the scope of CDMC appointment. I have some major projects where we are also the contract administrator and where RAMS review done by CDMC resource to advise contract administrator.
