We have bought gas cylinders for BA sets to enter confined spaces. These have a volume of 8-10 litre (if filled with water) - but are normally filled with compressed air to 300psi. We frequently have to move (1 or 2 at time) these from one site to another in vans on public roads Where can I get a simple guidance document for our managers / drivers explaining what precautions are required?

The BGSA do some good guidance, the suppliers of your BA set could also be a source of information as would be any decent diving shop (diving cylinders being essentially the same thing). These might be useful: http://www.bsacforum.co....ad.php?t=2082&page=2 http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/dvis11.pdf Hope that helps
