I'm looking for FRA training and wonder whether anybody could point me in the right direction please. I haven't been able to find anything on the IOSH webpage.

The British Safety Council have an acredited Level 2 course that would be ideal. I live in Cheshire but have been unable to find a training provider in NW England. Does anybody know of a provider please?

Alternatively any ideas concerning similar courses will be appreciated please

Hi there

I did a Fire Risk Assessor course (3 days) with the Fire Protection Association, was also attended by Fire Brigade personnel, HSE personnel etc.

Super course, highly recommended.

Hi.

I did mine with these:

I can highly recommend them. They offer a course in the North West too.

No commercial connection with these.

Many thanks to all, that have responded.

Ideally I wanted the BSC Level 2 course and I'm pleased to say that I've found a training provider. One not based in NW England, but South Yorkshire and I'm going on the course later this month.

I've attended other courses with this provider in the past and have been highly satisfied. If anybody wants more info please contact me via the PM facility.

That's good news as this is the course I have asked to attend and my employer has agreed to. If you have any tips for me, I would be grateful to hear from you, by PM initially. Many thanks

I asked this question 12 months ago on here, in conjunction with my local IOSH branch we got Vulcan in and saved some serious money. I was only ever recommended 2 companies. FPA & Vulcan, I could not recommend Vulcan highly enough. A 5 day risk assessment course leaves you thoroughly confident within its specified application, I will definitely be doing their Fire managers course at the first opportunity
