Hi, I'm looking for some guidance on the setting out of the DSE workstations. I've read the ACOP L24 Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 where it states 11 cubic metres. The ceiling height is 2.98 metres The Desk width is 1.60 metres If I work it out that would mean that the distance from to back of the desk to the rear area behind the user is 2.31 metres. This seems quite excessive. Can anyone give me any advice on the best way to work this out. Is it correct that from the back of the desk to the rear of the person there should be 1600mm?

ooops You mean 2.31m including the depth of the desk and the seat the user is in, so you will probably find it is more like 1m behind, which you need to move the chair out to get up. Chris
