Rank: Super forum user		L is for Legal series where most of the ACOPs ar located. But quite a a few of the L series are only guidance, another example to L108 is L25 on PPE.

Rank: Guest		Indeed you do L stands for legal reference therefore I presume it must have at least the Regulations contained as Guidance has no affirmed legal standing.

Rank: Super forum user		108 provides you with both the regulations and the associated guidance and this is most likely to be your best source of reference. HSE guidance does have a 'legal status' although this is 'less' than an ACoP http://www.hse.gov.uk/legislation/legal-status.htm
