I need to write a risk assessment for a new Circular saw that the company has purchased. I will have to write a PUWER risk assessment I will also have to write a COSHH risk assessment regarding the saw dust. Does any one see a problem if I combine the two assessments into one covering all of the significant hazards?

Hi Bryan
First, you appear to have posted this in the wrong Forum; perhaps you can get a moderator to move it to the "Discussion Forum" where you'll get considerably more response.
I personally would not have a problem in undertaking all relevant RAs as a composite RA; it would be a sensible way to go as far as I'm concerned.
It would help others to focus better if we knew what type of saw - table, pull-over etc?
I suspect that you'll get a lot of chapter and verse from PUWER & CoSHH once others find this thread; so I'll leave it there.
