Hello,

Will one of you very resourceful people have a copy of BS EN 795:1996 (I know it is superseded)?
Looking for the value of the load apply during testing for type B anchor device under that standard.

Thank you
Bernie

Hi Bernie,
According to paragraph 4.3.2 of the 1997 BS, the test load is 10kN maintained for a minimum of three minutes.

Is that for a static strenght or a dynamic strenght & integrity test?
I have some type B anchors that were manufactured in 2005 with a conformity certificate refering to BS EN 795:1996 standard so trying to get what load they were tested to.
Before anybody suggest: manufacturer does not exist anymore or it would have been my first point of call...
