I'm wanting to develop my knowledge and competence around event safety management, in particular for larger outdoor events. I see there is a level 4 NVQ in Spectator Safety but this appears to be very much geared towards stadium events - I'm also wanting to pick up on carnival/open field type events. Does anyone have expertise in this area who could perhaps advise on possible courses/qualification. Many thanks.

Try the Emergency Planning College or Bucks University. Both offer courses on event safety.
