Hi all,
I'm wondering if anybody has any experience of using fire retardant sprays on curtains furnishings etc ?
Any experiences would be greatly appreciated, how successful you thought the process was etc.
Thanks in advance

Worked with such things many years ago [late 80's and early 90's] - in those days the product we had worked well and why they were not more widely used I cannot think and I have not seen such things advertised for many years
Before anything else ensure that you have the science proved to U as there were many products on the market back then but only one (1) in my day that did what it said on the packet. Additionally many products have protection built in nowerdays so such things are not as needed as they were and big problems arise with regards to the techniques used to apply such products

Thanks Bob for your advice. I would be of the same opinion I think they could be very useful, used in the correct circumstances. Is the one you used still on the market?

Hi Hayley
I've used it on events in the past and it seems to have worked well.
Heres a link to one of the manufacturers/retailers website which gives examples of the test certificates for their products with details of the BS they comply with.

Hope this helps.
